The 33rd International Conference on Conceptual Modeling (ER 2014) will be held in Atlanta, GA, USA from 27 to 29 October 2014. The longstanding Conference was started on the foundation of seminal work by Peter Chen related to entity-relationship modeling. It has, since, continued to evolve.

This year, the Conference contains papers related to Big Data, Enterprise Architecture, Ontology Modeling, Business Process Modeling, Empirical Studies of Modeling, and Applications to Privacy and Security.

This edition of the conference includes 39 papers in the main conference. In addition, there are 31 papers in 6 workshops that highlight contemporary challenges. There are also 3 Keynotes, 2 Tutorials and 2 Panels. An Educational Symposium and a Doctoral Consortium are also part of the program.

The Conference will be held in Atlanta, GA, USA. Atlanta has many educational and research institutions and is also known for CNN, The Coca-Cola Museum, and a rich American history. The Conference Hotel will be in Buckhead, the commercial center of the city, and is across the street from two major shopping areas: Lenox Mall and Phipps Plaza.
