The Department of Supply Chain and Information Systems in the College of Business at Iowa State University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the assistant, associate, or full professor level in Information Systems. The proposed start date is 8/16/2015 (vacancy ID# 140681).
Primary responsibilities include both research and teaching in information systems at the undergraduate, Master's and Ph.D. levels.
Iowa State University is a research one land-grant university with an enrollment of over 33,000 students and is a member of the prestigious Association of American Universities (AAU). We are located in Ames, Iowa, a community of approximately 52,000 people, about 35 miles north of Des Moines, the state capital.

The College of Business is accredited by AACSB International and is the third largest college at the University with an enrollment of approximately 3,600 undergraduate and 200 graduate students. The College of Business offers Bachelor's, Master's, and Ph.D. degrees in various disciplines, including Information Systems. Required Qualifications:
Applicants must have  a Ph.D.  in Information Systems or a closely related field before the starting date; have a strong scholarly research record as evidenced by publications (or progress toward publications) in top-tier journals, and evidence of effectiveness in classrooms.
For consideration to Associate Professor rank, applicants must meet, in addition to the above qualifications, the university standards for appointment to the rank, including publications in premier journals in management information systems or related fields and demonstrated ability as a successful classroom teacher.
Applicants for Professor must have, in addition, a strong national and international scholarly reputation.
All faculty members are expected to exhibit and convey good citizenship within the program, the department, college, and university activities and collegial interactions, and maintain the highest standards of integrity and ethics.
Preferred Qualifications:
Expertise in business analytics, statistics, programming, and a demonstrated ability to teach a variety of Information Systems courses at the undergraduate, Master's or Ph.D. levels.
Experience, established research, and national and international reputation to warrant associate or professor status is preferred.
