Since it first began in 1980, the SIM IT Trends Study has been a collaboration of IT academics and the senior IT manager members of the Society for Information Management (SIM). For the first time ever, the entire library of MISQ and MISQE articles, slidedecks, and reports is now available free of charge at the bottom of the Study's homepage at http://www.simnet.org/?ITTrendsStudy. We believe that some of the early white papers are missing, so please let me know if you happen to have one. Special thanks to Jan DeGross and Alan Dennis for arranging the intellectual property releases for MISQ and MISQE; and Vess Johnson, Natalie Gerhart, and Ken Boonme for their help with making this happen too.

This year's SIMposium conference slidedeck is also available now at no charge at http://info.associationheadquarters.com/2014-sim-it-trends-study.

The 2014 SIM IT Trends Study report will appear in the December issue of MISQE. The Study is somewhat unique to academe in that it must be completed in about ten months - everything from questionnaire revisions and implementation, data collection and analysis (of over 5,000 columns of data from over 1,000 SIM-member respondents), presentation and publication. A big shout out to the entire Research Team (academics Eph McLean, Vess Johnson, and Natalie Gerhart; and practitioners Bill Peterson and Barbara Stewart) and to MISQE Editor-in-Chief Dorothy Leidner and Managing Editor Jordan Barlow for everything they do "above and beyond the call of duty" to make this happen.

Best wishes,
Leon
