The Chair of Information Systems and Management (Prof. Dr. Daniel Veit) of
the Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Augsburg is
offering a 

Research and Teaching Assistant Position
(fulltime position, salary according to German 13 TV-L scheme)
beginning on 1st of January 2015 or later. The contract has the scope of
regular working time (40,1 hours/week) and is initially limited to three
years. A fixed-term extension of the employment is possible. The position is
also suitable for part-time.

We are an internationally oriented, dynamic team and offer diversified
topics and development opportunities in international and national research
projects, in the active participation in teaching and in the organizational
work and development of the research group. The research group Information
Systems and Management is investigating the transformative effects
information technology is taking within and between organizations as well as
in society, especially with regard to business models, digitization of
public administration or current trends like green information systems,
eHealth or cloud computing.

The main research focus of this position should be on the topic ³Sharing
Economy². The core idea of this socio-economic system is to share the access
to goods and services instead of owning them or limiting the usage to singe
individuals[1] <#_ftn1> .

Pursuing a doctoral degree while on this position is possible.

The regular teaching load of this position presumably comprises 5 contact
hours per week.

>From a potential candidate we expect an above-average academic university
degree in Business Administration, Information Systems or related fields. We
require very good proficiency in spoken and written English. The candidate
should be interested in empirical research and enjoy participating in the
development of our international research and teaching activities.
