Jones College of Business, Department of Computer Information Systems seeks a full-time, tenure-track position (#114210), at either the Assistant or Associate Professor rank. Position begins: August 1, 2015

The CIS department has 20 full-time faculty and over 370 majors and offers a baccalaureate and master's of science degree in information systems as well as an MIS cognate in the MBA program. Knowledge of object-oriented languages, web development and/or data analytics is highly desirable. All areas of information systems will be considered. Teaching and research in information systems and/or data analytics is expected.

Excellence in teaching, research and creative activity, and service is expected for all positions. MTSU seeks candidates committed to using integrative technologies in teaching.  Minimum Qualifications: A PhD in Information Systems or closely related field required; ABD considered if close to completion.
