Dear all,

Please join us in congratulating the five (non-ranked!) winners of the 2013
AIS Best Publication of the Year, who were announced during ICIS 2014 in
Auckland.

The winners are:

Terrence August and Marius Florin Niculescu (2013), "The Influence of
Software Process Maturity and Customer Error Reporting on Software Release
and Pricing," Management Science, 59(12), 2702-2726.

Pamela Abbott, Yingqin Zheng, Rong Du, and Leslie Willcocks (2013), "From
boundary spanning to creolization: A study of Chinese software and services
outsourcing vendors," Journal of Strategic Information Systems, 22, 121-136.

Constance Elise Porter, Sarv Devaraj, and Daewon Sun (2013), "A Test of Two
Models of Value Creation in Virtual Communities," Journal of Management
Information Systems, 30(1), 261-292.

Lynn Wu (2013), "Social Network Effects on Productivity and Job Security:
Evidence from the Adoption of a Social Networking Tool," Information
Systems Research, 24(1), 30-51.

Melissa Mazmanian, Wanda J. Orlikowski, and JoAnne Yates (2013), "The
Autonomy Paradox: The Implications of Mobile Email Devices for Knowledge
Professionals," Organization Science, 24(5), 1337-1357.

37 EiCs nominated one IS paper each published in 2013. The selection
process involved 13 AIS Senior Scholars (who partially wish to stay
anonymous). We (signing this mail) would like to very much thank again the
reviewers / evaluators for their willingness to spend a good part of their
time on the award process to serve the IS community!

CONGRATULATIONS again to the five winning author teams and journals! The
winners should be presented on the respective AIS website shortly.
