The Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia seeks qualified applicants for a full-time faculty position at the Lecturer level in the area of Entrepreneurship. This is a non-tenure track teaching position and is subject to an annual contract. The position will start August 2015.  Salary is competitive and dependent upon qualifications.
Job Responsibilities:  Instructional duties will include teaching three Entrepreneurship or related courses each regular (fall and spring) semester. Lecturers are expected to maintain sufficient professional and/or academic engagement to "sustain the intellectual capital necessary to support high-quality outcomes consistent with the school's mission and strategies" as required by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). The successful candidate will also be involved in a variety of on and off campus activities. The position is subject to a renewable academic year contract.

Qualifications:  The requirements for the position are 1) a master's degree with significant coursework in an area related to entrepreneurship and 2)  <>significant and recent entrepreneurial experience in areas such as venture creation, business development / growth, social or non-profit entrepreneurship, or entrepreneurial finance <>. Preferred qualifications include 1) an M.B.A. or Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship or related field and 2) prior teaching experience in business-related areas in higher education.

The Terry College of Business is an AACSB-accredited business school with an enrollment of more than 3,500 students. The department offers a certification in Entrepreneurship for business majors both at the undergraduate and graduate level. There are three full-time Entrepreneurship positions within the MIS Department - one chaired professor and two lecturers.
