[AISWorld] QVC Analytics Challenge

Colleagues,

I hope you are all having a great start to your semester.  I would like to invite you to consider forming a student team to compete in the QVC Analytics Challenge.   This challenge tasks students to create a data visualization that will provide answers to actual problems that are being faced by QVC, Lockheed Martin, NBC Universal, and Merck using real-world data.  It is an excellent entry point to the field of data analytics and can be used as an exciting and engaging assignment for many different IS courses.

All AIS institutions are invited to participate in the preliminary round.  If you make it to the finals, we will work to get you set up with an AIS Student Chapter so that you may compete in the finals to be held at the Student Chapter Leadership Conference on the Campus of the University of Alabama on April 9-11.  However, you must act quickly as the deadline for submissions is only about three weeks away on Feb 15th!
