The Management, HR and Information Systems Area of the Orfalea College of Business at California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) seeks applicants for one or more full-time lecturer position for one academic year beginning September 14, 2015 and ending June 14, 2016 in the primary area of Information Systems (IS). Candidates must have an interest and ability to teach undergraduate-level Introduction to MIS courses (using Microsoft Access, Excel and web development tools for business applications) and at least one of the following courses: computer programming (preferably using C# and/or Java), Android programming, mobile application development, computer networking, ERP, and information security. The successful candidate must have completed at least a master's degree in Business with an emphasis in Information Systems or in a related field such as Computer Science or Information Science from an AACSB (or equivalent) accredited institution. Applicants are expected to demonstrate and maintain currency in their professional field. Experience with teaching at the upper-division college level is also desirable.
