Covenant University in furtherance of the continued quest to make local and
global contributions, established the International Conference of African
Development Issues (CU-ICADI) series as a unique platform to engender
innovative contributions towards value enhancement and capacity development
of the black man and indeed, the African continent.



The theme of  this year’s conference CU-ICADI 2015 is *“Biotechnology, ICT,
Materials and Renewable Energy: Potential Catalyst for African Development”*
. Therefore*, *the thematic interests of CU-ICADI 2015 cover a wide
spectrum of topics that pertain to issues of African development in the
fields of biotechnology, ICT, material science and engineering, and
renewable energy.

I invite you to participate in CU-ICADI 2015. The conference will feature
keynote addresses and guest lectures, panel/roundtable discussions by
renowned academics and industry experts, including a Nobel Peace Laureate.
Also, I want to invite you to submit academic papers for presentation at
the conference.

The important dates are as follows:



Submission of abstract:  *January 31, 2015* *February 20, 2015*

Notification of acceptance of abstract: *February 9 (1st batch), February
25,2015 (2nd batch)*.

Full-paper submission: *March 15, 2015*.

Notification of acceptance of full-papers: *April 15, 2015*.

*Publication opportunity*

All accepted and presented papers at the conference will be published in a
Conference Proceedings with a ISBN, and will subsequently be indexed in

In addition, authors of accepted papers would be invited to submit extended
