PwC Chair in Digital Economy

The Information Systems School (Science and Engineering Faculty) and the School of Management (Business School)
of the Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia, are jointly offering the new position of the PwC Chair
in Digital Economy.

The Chair will be dedicated to research related to the design and deployment of innovation systems in a digital economy.
Working with a cross-disciplinary team of researchers and with the strong support of industry partners providing rich
empirical evidence, this Chair will expand the understanding of how organizations successfully develop innovation
capabilities and how they conduct effective and efficient innovation processes in an opportunity-rich environment.

In alignment with QUT's ambition to conduct relevant and rigorous research, this Chair will shape a contemporary
research agenda, seek to publish outcomes in prestigious IS and business journals, and is motivated by real-world
inspirations and impact. It is expected that relevant research findings will inform our under-graduate and post-graduate
courses and executive education.

QUT's Information Systems School consists of three disciplines, Business Process Management, Service Science
and Information Ecology. With 30 academic staff, approx. 100 research students and two further industry-funded
Chairs in innovation management, the School provides a comprehensive platform for ambitious researchers.
