As computing moves into its sixth decade as a formal field of study, much attention is focused on the breadth of relationships between computing and other disciplines. New pedagogies, modules, and curricular materials are needed to support student learning of computing in context. The NSF-funded project titled "Computing in Context" aims to develop and evaluate new teaching materials and pedagogies that promote students' active learning in four inter-disciplinary areas of relevance to computing.

The 2015 NSF Workshop on Curricular Development for Computing in Context (CIC15) focuses on the discipline of Intelligence and Security Informatics (ISI) and will be a venue for scholars to present their works on developing, evaluating, and disseminating curricular materials for the discipline. The workshop welcomes submission of short papers (1-page) and long papers (up to 6 pages) that align with the focus of the workshop. Prospective authors are invited to submit original papers on the teaching, pedagogical development, curricular resources, educational research in (but are not limited to) the following topics:

- Computers and Social Issues

****** Submission Guidelines ******

Submission Types: Short Paper (1-page) and Full Paper (up to 6 pages). 

Submission Format: Authors should follow the ACM SIG Proceedings guidelines to format their submissions.

Review Process: Submissions will be peer-reviewed by experts and scholars in the relevant fields. Papers accepted for presentation at the workshop will be published in the workshop proceedings. At least one author of an accepted paper must present the paper at the workshop.
