Building on the success of Southampton Management School, the University of Southampton has recently launched Southampton Business School (https://www.sbs.ac.uk/). The Business School is looking to further strengthen its expertise in the information systems and knowledge management disciplines, and welcomes strong applicants in any of these areas. A successful applicant would be expected to contribute to the teaching of MSc programmes in Knowledge and Information Systems Management (KISM) (https://www.sbs.ac.uk/postgraduate/msc-knowledge-and-information-systems-management) and International Management, as well as to support the delivery of information systems, knowledge management or systems thinking modules across the School.

The successful applicant would be expected to contribute to the research activity of the School: they should either have a PhD or have a reasonable expectation of such an award in the near future, and should be able to demonstrate a high-quality research track record with clear plans for future research activity. Whilst we are not seeking any specific area of KISM specialism, an interest in aspects of organisational knowledge (broadly defined) and its management would be particularly welcomed. The appointee will be working as part of the School's Centre of Excellence in Decision Analytics and Risk Research.

As part of a Russell Group University with a global reputation for academic excellence, Southampton Business School offers a stimulating and challenging working environment for all our staff. It is an exciting time to join the School and we are hoping to recruit an individual who will play an essential role in the School achieving its vision.
