[AISWorld] CFP for Teaching Track at the 2015 Pre-ICIS Business Analytics Congress

We invite the submission of manuscripts to the Teaching Track of the 2015
Business Analytics Congress organized by SIG Decision Support and Analytics
(SIGDSA) and the Teradata Univeristy Network (TUN), to be held on December
12th and 13th, 2015 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Emerging technologies in business intelligence and social media are fueling
a need for innovative curricula in online, traditional and hybrid delivery
formats that meet the industry needs. In keeping with the BA Congress theme
of “Exploring the Analytics Frontier”, we seek pedagogical research
contributions, teaching materials, and pedagogical practices/cases that
address acquisition, application, and continued development of the
knowledge and skills required in the usage of business analytics in the
classroom, with emphasis on business intelligence, social media analytics,
big data analytics, high performance analytics, data science,
visualization, and other emerging analytic technologies.

Contributions could be comprehensive research or research-in-progress in
teaching and learning addressing topics including but not limited to:

- Business Analytics curriculum development with assessment methods
- Pedagogical innovation in Business Analytics
- Organizational case studies (with teaching notes)
- Tutorial exercises (with teaching notes, data sets, software, etc)
- Business analytics software in the classroom

Submit papers as e-mail attachments addressed to all three Teaching Track
Chairs listed below: Sule Balkan, Joseph Clark, and Nick Evangelopoulos by
the end of day Monday, August 17.

Submission Guidelines:
- Full research papers and teaching cases may not exceed 14 pages.
- Teaching notes for cases and tutorials should not exceed 5 pages.
- Research-in-progress papers should not exceed 7 pages.
- All submissions must conform to the submission template, which is modeled
after the ICIS submission template.

- Monday, August 17: Deadline for manuscript submission (midnight PST)
- Monday, October 5: Communication of accepted papers
- Monday, November 2: Early registration deadline
- Monday, November 9: Camera ready papers for workshop due (midnight PST)
- Saturday, December 12: BA Congress from noon to 5pm
- Sunday, December 13: BA Congress from 8am to 5pm
