Call for Tutorials and Panels

The 13th International Conference on Business Process Management (BPM 2015), which will take place on 31.8–3.9.2015 in Innsbruck, Austria, is seeking proposals for tutorials and panels. Tutorials and panels are intended to complement the program of the BPM conference. For this, tutorials provide conference delegates with the opportunity to obtain an in–depth introduction to specific approaches or tools in the BPM field. Further, tutorials might be dedicated to specific research methods. Panels, in turn, are open conversations where thought leaders discuss controversial topics or trends in BPM. Tutorials and panels are intended to be highly interactive, encouraging the audience to pose questions and comment on the discussed content. Tutorials can last 1.5 or 3 hours while panels are up to 1.5 hours long.

Proposals for tutorials should include

	• title
	• presenters’ name, affiliation, and brief biography
	• intended duration (1.5 or 3 hours)
	• abstract and outline, including information about the structure of the tutorial, expected audience active participation, and any unique feature planned (up to 1 page)
	• intended audience

Proposals for panels should include

	• title
	• moderator’s name, affiliation, and brief biography
	• abstract, emphasizing the controversial issues to be discussed in the panel (up to 1 page)
	• list of potential panelists
