The Information Systems and Operations Management department in the Sellinger School of Business at Loyola University Maryland invites qualified individuals to apply for a one-year visiting position in information systems to begin in late August 2016. To be considered, you must be eligible to work in the U.S.

There is a possibility that in 2016 this position could be extended for a second year or, subject to administrative approval, be advertised as a tenure track position.

The ISOM department comprises nine full time faculty. The department teaches a range of required and elective courses at undergraduate and graduate (MBA) levels. Approximately 60 undergraduate students are enrolled as IS majors with a further 200 undergraduate students taking courses towards an IS minor. Our research covers a broad set of topics including IT business value, strategic alignment, decision models, big data analytics, healthcare IT, and cybersecurity. The Information Systems undergraduate specialty was ranked #3 in the nation by Bloomberg BusinessWeek in 2012 and #7 in 2013.
