The University of Nebraska at Omaha and the College of Information, Science and Technology invite applications for a Senior Research Technology Fellow position in area of computer science, project management, big data analytics, computer security, computing education, and/or information systems.

Responsibilities of this position align with those associated with a typical Professor of Practice role; they include 75% teaching (three sections each fall and spring semester, or annual equivalent) and 25% service/outreach activities such as coordination of multiple section courses, outreach to industry or education communities, accreditation support or other assignments. Successful candidates will be expected to be significantly involved in the college's teaching mission and teach a variety of courses in the undergraduate, graduate, and executive programs. Potential involvement in the research mission of the college would be considered positively.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree in computer science, information technology, management information systems and/or related disciplines, and have an enthusiasm of teaching and interaction with students. Some industry experience and substantive collegiate level teaching experience, strong oral presentation, and communication skills are required for this position.
