We are looking for an individual who is excited about investigating how
technology will affect Singapore society in the next 25 years.

The candidate should have at least an honors degree in social science
(e.g., sociology, psychology, communications studies), human-computer
interaction, or information/library science. Someone with a masters' degree
in any of the above discipline is preferred.

Independent of academic achievements, the candidate should have at least
two years of work experience, preferably in an area related to information
technology, user experience, and/or research and analysis. A demonstrated
ability to conduct text mining, or other information retrieval techniques
is a plus.

In addition to being responsible for day-to-day running of the research
project, the candidate will work with the research team to collect data, as
well as organize and conduct workshops. For individuals who do not come
with experience in conducting qualitative research (e.g., in-depth
interviews, participant observation), we will provide close supervision and
training.

Due to the nature of work, we are looking for a candidate who is
detail-oriented and demonstrates excellent communication skills. This is
because in addition to conducting interviews and discussions, interacting
with multiple stakeholders and collaborators form a major component of this
research project.

Last, the candidate must be interested in writing. Individuals who are
planning to pursue advanced degrees (e.g., Masters or PhD) after the
project completes in late 2016 are strongly encouraged to apply for the
research assistant position for our project.
