A postdoc position in Digitalization of Supply Chains is available at the Faculty of Engineering and Science, Center for Industrial Production (CIP), Department of Business and Management at Aalborg University for a period of two years. The position is open for appointment from 1st October 2015 or soon hereafter.

The Center for Industrial Production (CIP) was established in 1999 and has around 60 employees located in Aalborg and Copenhagen. Since its inception CIP has been committed to serve as a national center of excellence in industrial manufacturing. CIP is a research center building theory based on reality, and the Center has close cooperation with Danish industry. CIP is part of the Department of Business and Management. Job description

The postdoc will be researching digitalization of supply chains in close collaboration with industrial partners within the strategic platforms for innovation and research grant: MADE - Platform for Future Production (see: http://www.made.dk) WP5.

The goal of the research is to develop methodologies and tools to transform advanced business process technologies into proactive supply chain capabilities. It is expected that the work will involve demonstrators in both industry and our upcoming industry 4.0 laboratory. The research will be conducted with close engagement with the industrial partners and also with production related research groups at Aalborg University as well as our national and international partners.

Limited teaching within the area can be expected.
