*Summary: *

Trinity University, located in San Antonio, Texas, invites applications for
a full time, tenure track position of Assistant Professor of Business
Analytics and Technology (emphasis in Management Information Systems)
within the Department of Finance and Decision Sciences in the School of
Business, effective August 2016.

*Duties and Responsibilities: *

The individual selected will teach three courses per semester, as well as
actively engage in research and other scholarly activity and participate in
departmental, university and other service opportunities.

*Education and Experience Requirements*

The department is searching for someone with teaching interests in Business
Analytics / Management Information Systems / Data Science / ERP. Qualified
candidates for the position will have a Doctoral degree in Business
Administration (Management Information Systems or a closely related field)
from a reputable University. ABDs will be considered if the candidate has
other outstanding credentials or experience. Some experience teaching MIS
in an undergraduate setting is required as well.

The successful candidate should have familiarity with SAP's ERP system, or
at least a strong inclination to develop the required proficiency, a good
command of business analytics tools and advanced statistics, and an
excellent grasp of the statistical software package “R”. Relevant work
experience in the field is a plus.
