[AISWorld] Assistant Professor of MIS Faculty Position at the University of Alabama

The Culverhouse College of Commerce at The University of Alabama invites
applications for an expected opening of a tenure-track faculty position at
the Assistant Professor level in Management Information Systems starting
August 16, 2016 in the Department of Information Systems, Statistics, and
Management Science. Candidates must have completed a doctorate in MIS or a
closely related field by the start of the appointment. An ideal candidate
would demonstrate a proven ability to produce high impact research and to
excel in undergraduate and graduate teaching. Research preferences are
open, but candidates whose research complement existing research activity
in the department will be viewed as beneficial. Candidates with teaching
interests in project management, systems and software development, data
communications, and data management are encouraged to apply. Salary is
competitive and commensurate with experience and achievements. Prior to
hiring, the candidate must successfully pass a pre-employment background
investigation.

growing undergraduate MIS major along with specializations in the M.S.,
