*** The 3rd International Workshop on Energy Harvesting and Energy-Neutral Sensing Systems (ENSsys):
The ENSsys workshop represents the fast growing research community in the area of Energy Harvesting and Energy Neutral Sensing Systems. 2015 represents the third year of the growing workshop, and the third year that it has been co-located with SenSys. ENSsys will bring researchers together to explore the challenges, issues and opportunities in the research, design, and engineering of energy-harvesting and energy-neutral sensing systems. These are an enabling technology for future applications in smart energy, transportation, environmental monitoring and smart cities. High quality technical articles are solicited, describing advances in sensing systems powered by energy harvesting, as well as those which describe practical deployments and implementation experiences.

*** The 2nd International Workshop on Internet of Things towards Applications (IoT-App):
The notion of "Internet of Things" has emerged as a last-mile solution for connecting various cyber technologies to our everyday life. It envisions a world in which the sensor devices could exist in any form factor, anywhere, in which all the sensory data will be made available to the Internet, and be readily accessible to a wide range of applications. This workshop aims to provide a forum for researchers to present thoughts and results on IoT applications. We are looking for application descriptions, development, experiences and evaluation in a wide range of domains including, but not limited to homes, offices, medical care, vehicles, transportation, supply chains and education. Particularly, we are interested in identifying new applications that are made possible by the Internet of Things, as well as new challenges these applications will pose to the design of an Internet of Things.

*** The 2nd International Workshop on Mobile Medical Applications (MMA):
In recent years, a wave of smart phone applications are being proposed that monitor human health, control medical device operations, and provide feedback to promote healthy activities. These advances have led regulatory agencies such as the Food and Drug Administration to consider the smartphone as a medical device. Thus, smartphone applications for health care are critical pieces of software that have strict requirements on patient safety, data security, and efficacy. Healthcare applications (Health apps) involve several unique features such as interfacing with physiological sensors, data sharing among applications, communicating and storing personalized data in cloud servers, maintaining privacy of health data, controlling mission critical medical devices (infusion pumps, ventilators), and displaying physiological data in a way intuitive to the user and time saving for the doctor. This workshop is a platform to discuss the smartphone based healthcare application software development with special focus on their unique characteristics and regulatory requirements.

*** The 6th Workshop on Real World Wireless Sensor Networks
Wireless sensor networks have established themselves recently as one of the most important enabling technologies for a variety of applications â starting from agricultural and environmental monitoring and reaching to the smart city and smart grid scenarios. A rich algorithm and protocol ecosystem has emerged too, enabling various applications with very different requirements.
At the same time, real deployments of wireless sensor networks still prove to be cumbersome and not sufficiently automated. Even the best known and used algorithms and protocols need to be carefully manually tuned, in order to adapt to the environment and the application. This issue of the well-known RealWSN workshop tackles the problem of development and deployment of sensing applications in the real world: it will gather the best practices from renowned and experienced researchers and practitioners and will answer the question of how to most quickly and efficiently deploy these applications in mostly unknown environments.

*** The 2nd International Workshop on Machine Learning for Urban Sensor Data (SenseML)
With an increasing amount of urban sensor data available, the focus shifts from âHow do we collect data?â to âWhat can we learn from the data and how do the models look like?â However, the challenges that come with urban sensor data for the design and application of learning algorithms are not yet sufficiently addressed. Consequently, algorithms that are suited to the special needs this kind of data imposes such as missing values, unreliable measurements, missing calibration or high spatial diversity still need to be developed. Bringing together the sensor systems expertise from the Wireless Sensor Networks and Sensor Systems community with the knowledge available in the machine learning community, will open up a whole new set of applications and technical questions.

*** The 1st Workshop for Context Sensing and Activity Recognition (CSAR)
The CSAR (Context Sensing and Activity Recognition) workshop is intended to bring together researchers, developers, and practitioners in current participatory sensing, computing and communication from academia, industry, and service providers, to share ideas, experiences, and practical implementations related to new CSAR technologies and applications. Both position and working-in-progress papers are encouraged. To that end, papers are solicited from all related areas involving the interactions or integrations of massive sensing data with advanced computing and communication solutions.
