Four new, valuable opportunities have been added to the 2015 Pre-ICIS Business Analytics Congress (BAC)!!

Details for the Congress are at bac2015.uncg.edu

1.	Journal Publication Opportunity: We are excited to announce that the best completed research and research-in-progress papers in the 2015 Business Analytics Congress (BAC) will be considered for fast tracking to the Decision Sciences Journal (DSJ). Authors of the selected papers will be notified of this decision soon after the acceptance decisions are communicated, and will be invited to attend a DSJ manuscript development workshop that is part of the 2015 Business Analytics Congress.

2.	SIG Decision Support and Analytics (SIGDSA) is sponsoring awards for best research track papers. There will be one $200 award for Best Research Paper and two $100 awards for runners-up.

3.	Teradata University Network (TUN) is sponsoring awards for best teaching track papers. There will be one $300 TUN Teaching Innovation Award for the best teaching paper and two $100 awards for runners-up.

4.	Prototype Demonstration Opportunity (Research and Teaching): This year we have added an exciting new category for submissions to BAC 2015. Proposals for prototype demonstrations are invited for submission to BAC 2015 that highlight various aspects of the prototype such as novelty, architecture, functioning, ongoing and future work, etc. Prototypes could be related to teaching as well as research applications. Examples of such prototypes could be (but not limited to) original web application, mobile apps, a functional analytics model, devices (such as IoT) connected to data science applications, teaching games that have an integrated study or analytics component.

This high visibility category is different from paper presentation category and provides an opportunity to display your artifact to an interactive audience. Prototype demonstration will involve a poster display (printed or electronic) and/or live demonstration of prototype to the attendees.

The proposal are expanded abstracts and are to be limited to two pages in length (or 800 words). Submissions should indicate on the top that they are "prototype demonstrations". Proposal submissions and queries can sent to Ashish Gupta: gupta at utc.edu with subject line "BAC 2015 Prototype Proposal". Submission due date: September 15th (Tuesday), 2015. These demonstrations will be evaluated at the conference by a panel of judges.

SIGDSA will provide two awards based on the merit of submissions. There will be one Best Prototype award of $200 and one runner-up award of $100.

Prototype Demonstration Co-Chairs:
