Hi

Located on the Bosphorus, one of the world's historic shipping channels, ECIS 2016 <http://www.ecis2016.eu/en/> features an Maritime Informatics track <http://www.ecis2016.eu/files/downloads/Tracks/T22.pdf>.

Papers are due on November 27th, 2015

This will the first time there has been a Maritime Informatics track at ECIS. Given the EU's on going commitment to improving the efficiency, safety, and sustainability of shipping under the auspices of the MonaLisa project <http://monalisaproject.eu/>, there are many opportunities for IS scholars to help take the maritime industry into the digital age.
