The Ted Rogers School of Information Technology Management at Ryerson
University (http://www.ryerson.ca/itm) in Toronto invites applications for
a tenure-stream appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor.



Candidates with research backgrounds in big data and security will be given
priority. Industry and teaching experience in this area is preferred. The
position will commence July 1st, 2016. Candidates will hold a PhD in
Information Systems or a related field. The successful candidate should
demonstrate evidence of high-quality teaching, a strong, externally
fundable program of applied research, an emerging or established record of
scholarly productivity, as well as the capacity for collaboration and
collegial service.



Applications should include a letter of application, a curriculum vitae,
two recent writing samples, results of teaching surveys (or equivalent
evidence such as a teaching dossier), and the contact information for three
referees. Please indicate in your letter of application if you are a
Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada. Please also indicate
whether you will be available for an interview at DSI 2015 Annual Meeting
in Seattle, WA or ICIS 2015 in Fort Worth, TX.



The Ted Rogers School of Information Technology Management, consisting of
