Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania invites applications for 2 full time, tenure track faculty members to teach in Information Systems (IS) beginning August, 2016. The School of Business at Slippery Rock University offers a BS in Information Systems and an MBA which relies on several IS courses. Duties include excellent classroom instruction, research and scholarly growth that may involve undergraduate students, academic advising, committee work at departmental, college, and university levels, and other duties as assigned.



Minimum Qualifications



Ph.D. in Information Systems. Successful performance in an on-campus interview, including a teaching demonstration, is required. Commitment to the education of diverse populations. Perceived ability to work productively with students and colleagues, and to engage in appropriate research is required. A.B.D. considered if dissertation defense is scheduled.



Preferred Qualifications



Areas of interest to the department are: health care, cyber security, data/business analytics and cross-disciplinary collaboration, but all areas of IS will be entertained. Preference will be given to candidates having a demonstrable research agenda in core Information Systems areas that can include undergraduates.
