Position Summary:

The primary work responsibility of the successful candidate will be teaching courses in the Information Systems and Interactive Web Management programs. Major responsibilities include an active research agenda, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in the Department of Information Systems. Responsibilities also include actively serving on the University and College service committees. The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh is committed to a teacher-scholar model, and qualified candidates must have a demonstrated ability or promise to produce quality research and capacity for teaching excellence.

Requirements

  *   Ph.D., DBA or ABD in Information Systems or a related field (AACSB accredited or equivalent)

Candidates should present evidence of: teaching ability in technology related fields; ability to conduct and publish research in IT/IS related fields; in-depth knowledge of IT related fields; and ability to work collaboratively.

Preferences
Present evidence knowledge/skill in at least three of the following:


  *   Networking/Network Infrastructure
  *   IT Management/Strategy
  *   Database Management/Development
  *   App Development/Methodologies
  *   E-commerce
