The Graduate School of Public Administration (IDHEAP), a school within the Faculty of Law, Criminal Sciences and Public Administration at the University of Lausanne, invites applications for the position of:

Professor in management with a specialization in analysis of public data
(Data analytics, Data mining, Big data, Open data, Liquid data, etc.)

To begin: 01.08.16 (or to be agreed)
Type of position: 100% (full-time)
Location: Lausanne (IDHEAP - Quartier Unil-Mouline)
Level: open (full professor or associate professor)

Desired background:
-    PhD in management, economics, computer science, information systems, political science, social science or a similar degree
-    Research experience and relevant publications in the field of data analysis (Data analytics, Data mining, Big data, Open data, Liquid data, etc.).
-    Teaching and research experience in line with the managerial aspects of public policy
-    Very good theoretical knowledge and practice of quantitative research methods and tools
-    Confirmed experience in conducting research projects and good integration within international research networks
-    Confirmed experience in acquiring and directing mandates for public institutions or organizations
-    Ability to teach in French and English, and later, in German
