Job Description
Missouri University of Science and Technology Department of Business and Information Technology seeks to fill a tenure-track Assistant Professor position within the department's Information Science and Technology program beginning in Fall 2016. The normal teaching load is 2 courses per semester.  The candidate is expected to provide high-quality instruction and research, play a major role in the development of programs, advise students, and establish and maintain professional relationships.  Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications
Applicants should have a Ph.D. or ABD in information science and technology, computer information systems, management information systems, or a related discipline from an AACSB-accredited university with a definite completion date (if ABD).

Preferred Qualifications
The preferred candidate should be qualified to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in human-computer interaction, mobile commerce/technology, and other information systems courses. The candidate is also expected to develop or have developed a nationally recognized research program in his/her area of expertise in one or more of the discipline areas stated above. The successful candidate will demonstrate successful teaching, research and communications skills.
