[AISWorld] 960 submissions for ECIS 2016 in Istanbul

Dear Colleagues:

The ECIS 2016 Istanbul team is excited to inform you that we have received
a record number of 960 paper submissions. The deadline for the panel
submissions is 14th March and the deadline for the prototype submissions is
29th January. Furthermore there are plenty of opportunities for organizing
auxiliary events in fantastic
Istanbul.

The preparations for the conference are on track. The opening reception
will be held on the campus of Bogazici University, situated in the hills
above the Ottoman fortress of Rumelihisar, with beautiful views of the
Bosporus Strait. Monday night there will be an optional dinner cruise for
those who would like to enjoy a trip along the Bosporus, travelling between
Europe and Asia. Tuesday evening, the conference gala dinner will be held
in the historic, opulent mansion and gardens, which belonged to Sait Halim
Pasha, the Grand Vizier of the Ottoman Empire from 1913-1917, located on
the shores of the Bosporus, where the defense treaty between Germany and
the Ottoman Empire was signed in 1914.

Please make sure to visit the ECIS 2016 booth at ICIS. We will be happy to
answer your questions about the conference, hotels, and tourism in Istanbul
and Turkey. You will also have the opportunity to participate in a lottery
