Recently, IS scholars start to investigate the role of information
technology (IT) in enabling various digital innovations in contemporary
firms by generating new knowledge, new products, new processes, and new
business models. In particular, e-business capabilities are found as the
underlying IT-enabled mechanisms leading to innovation outcomes. This track
calls for research in the areas of e-business and digital innovation, which
include but are not limited to the following topics.
