Full or Assistant Professor (tenure track) in Information Security, Privacy and Risk

Starting on August, 1st 2016 or on a mutually agreed date.

The new professor will be part of the Information Systems Department of HEC Lausanne. The successful candidate should have an excellent research and publication record in the area of information security, privacy and risk. Preference will be given to candidates that enhance and complement the department's existing research activities, for example in security engineering, enterprise information security & privacy or IT auditing. The new professor is expected to play an active role in the development of our Master programs in Information Systems (MSc IS) and in Legal Issues, Crime and Security of Information Technologies (Master DCS, with the Faculty of Law, Criminal Justice and Public Administration).

Applicants must hold a PhD in information systems or a related discipline. We seek applicants with a proven ability to publish in leading international journals and the capacity to attract research funds. Rank of appointment will depend on candidate experience and accomplishments. The successful candidate will be expected to be able to teach in French after two years.
