Research Associate Position

The Centre of Excellence for Digital Business of ESSEC Business School
opens a full-time Research Associate post-doctorate position to
conduct research in business model innovation, digital business,
platforms and ecosystems strategy for its Paris-Cergy campus.

ESSEC is one of the leading European Business Schools, and a French
“Grande Ecole” with two campuses, one in the Paris metropolitan area,
and one in Singapore. It offers graduate level training in business
administration (MSc, MBA, Executive MBA, Specialized Masters, PhD,
etc.). Its Master in Management (MiM) program was ranked #3 worldwide
in the last Financial Times ranking.

The Center of Excellence for Digital Business of ESSEC has a mission
to coordinate all ESSEC activities in the digital domain and develop
additional initiatives in terms of research, teaching, corporate
support or participation in public debates. Professor Nicolas Glady,
Director of the Centre, and Professor Jan Ondrus, Director of Research
of the Center, will supervise the research projects in collaboration
with multinational companies.

To be considered, candidates should hold a Ph.D. or doctorate in
Information Systems, in Technology Management and Innovation, or in
Management with a strong interest on digital issues. The current
projects are related to business model innovation, digital platforms,
and ecosystems. Candidates should show evidence of excellence both in
data collection and quantitative research, with a scholarly research
record as evidenced by publications. Moreover, candidates must be able
to work well with academics and industry executives alike.

Support to research is key to ESSEC’s policy and faculty members enjoy
a very favorable environment. The candidate should be able to work in
English. French would be an advantage.
