Track: Spanish, Portuguese, and Latin America (LACAIS Chapter)

The AMCIS 2016 Spanish, Portuguese, and Latin America track promotes IS/IT/MIS research in and about Latin America. Latin America makes up a large part of the Americas and its population speaks primarily Spanish or Portuguese. This track opens a space for rigorous and high-quality research that is written in Spanish or Portuguese while also accepting papers in English that bring together IS/IT/MIS research and Latin America.

Submissions include Completed Research, Emergent Research Forum (ERF), Professional Development Symposia (PDS), and Panel Submissions).

Papers written in Spanish or Portuguese should cover the topics of AMCIS tracks and include a copy of the title and abstract in English. If you have any questions regarding the topic or would like additional guidance, please send an email to the Track co-chairs.

Deadline for AMCIS manuscript submission: March 2, 2016 10am PST.

Track Co-Chairs:
