The 1st Data Savvy Practitioner Forum will take place on June 24th, 2016 in Cork, Ireland. The Forum is part of the IFIP WG8.3 conference taking place in Cork from 22nd to 24th June, 2016. For further details see: https://dss2016conference.wordpress.com/data-savvy-practitioner-forum/

The Data Savvy Practitioner Forum encourages practitioners to share their data driven stories and collaborate with others to build a shared understanding of what it is to be both data savvy and data driven. In the context of the Forum, a data driven initiative is understood to be any initiative in your business that has put your business data in the spotlight for the purpose of delivering business value.

Submissions are still being accepted until 26th February.
Your 2,000 word data driven story should address the following questions:

  1.  What is the data driven initiative being reported?
  2.  Why is it an important initiative?
  3.  How was the initiative implemented?
  4.  When did this initiative take place?
  5.  Who has benefited from the initiative?
  6.  Where is the business value being realised from this initiative?
