The University of Mary Hardin Baylor's McLane College of Business seeks Assistant / Associate Professor to teach in the Master of Science in Information Systems graduate program beginning in August of 2016. This is a 9-month tenure-track position. UMHB seeks faculty who are active Christians and dedicated teacher-scholars to prepare students for leadership, service, and faith-informed discernment in a global society.

UMHB is conveniently located in Belton, an historic town of 19,000 in the heart of central Texas. Excellent schools, abundant cultural and recreational opportunities, and a high quality of life are hallmarks of the local community.

Faculty Responsibilities: Activities required of all faculty include exemplary teaching, curriculum development and student advising; professional attainment; and service to department, college, university, and the community. While primarily a teaching institution, UMHB recognizes and rewards research, publication, and other forms of scholarly attainment.

Specific Responsibilities: Teach graduate courses in information systems, information technology, web, systems analysis and design, database, and related courses. Full-time graduate faculty members typically teach 3 graduate courses per semester.

Qualifications:
1. Doctorate in Information Systems, Information Technology, or related area is required.
2. Database, network and security skills preferred. Business experience is preferred.
3. Excellent teaching and communication skills, a dedication to professional attainment, and commitment to quality improvement are essential.
4. Must be an active, committed Christian.
