The Institute of Information Systems at the University of Liechtenstein is pleased to announce the following vacancy:
Assistant Professor/Associate Professor (Tenure Track) in Information Systems and Data Analytics.

The University of Liechtenstein is young, rooted in its home region, and active around the globe. It is an internationally renowned centre of research and higher education and serves as a think tank in the border region of Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Austria, and Germany. Members of the Institute of Information Systems have published in prestigious IS journals, including Management Information Systems Quarterly (MISQ), Journal of the Association for Information Systems (JAIS), Journal of Management Information Systems (JMIS), European Journal of Information Systems (EJIS), and Journal of Information Technology (JIT).

Both research and teaching at institute focus on the design and application of information systems, with a particular emphasis on Business Process Management and Data Science. We are looking for individuals with a Ph.D. in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or closely related disciplines, a proven track record of research at international standards, and teaching experience. Preference will be given to candidates focused on (but not limited to) empirical and quantitative research methods as well as data mining methods for the analysis of large business data sets (e.g., text mining, social network analysis, econometrics).

You are expected to develop and drive relevant research agendas, to publish in international top journals, to collaborate in international academic networks, to actively contribute to the acquisition of funding for research projects, to collaborate with industry partners, and to teach Information Systems and Data Science courses at the undergraduate, graduate and executive levels. You are highly motivated, you have experience in the rigorous application of theories and empirical research methods, and you want to contribute to shaping the future directions of our research group.

Salary will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointments at the level of Assistant Professor will normally be temporary but, upon successful evaluation, candidates can be granted tenure and promoted to the level of Associate Professor according to the university's regulations. Appointments at the level of Associate Professor may be considered for immediate permanent appointment. Knowledge of German language is not essential, but candidates are expected to learn German from the outset of enrolment.
