POSITION: Full-Time Faculty - Information Systems

LOCATION: Baker College - Center for Graduate Studies


Baker College Professional Services, Inc. seeks to hire an individual to be
assigned to the position of FULL-TIME FACULTY - INFORMATION SYSTEMS for the
benefit of and to be located at Baker College - Center for Graduate Studies
in Flint, Michigan.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:

To provide content expertise for curriculum development and teach courses
in content area.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

* Doctoral degree in Information Science and Technology, Computer
Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related
discipline required; will consider qualified candidates who are ABD with a
definite completion date
* Must be qualified to teach graduate courses in information systems and
business intelligence
* Experience in teaching online courses preferred
* Experience in curriculum development for online courses preferred
* Experience with assessment of student outcomes preferred
* Experience in integrating technology into classroom teaching preferred
* Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Apps
* Must possess excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications
skills

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Teach 3 courses per quarter as assigned
* Revise, review and/or develop curriculum as assigned
* Collect, analyze, and submit assessment of student learning data to drive
continuous improvement
* Serve on the Graduate Faculty Council
* Provide service to their field through scholarship and professional
activities
* Attend Professional Development training as required
* Attend campus and system meetings as required
* Other duties as assigned

WORK SCHEDULE: Standard-Academic Contract

REPORTS TO: Dean of Master of Business Administration & Master of Science
in Information Systems Programs

STARTING DATE:  September 1, 2016

COMPENSATION: Salary based on education, experience, and existing wage
rates paid for similar positions within Baker College Professional
Services, Inc. Full benefit package.
