6th Annual Interdisciplinary Symposium on Decision Neuroscience
June 3 - 5, 2016
Fox School of Business, Temple University, Philadelphia, PA
On June 3-5, 2016, Temple University, together with Michigan, MIT and Stanford will host the 6th Annual Interdisciplinary Symposium on Decision Neuroscience (ISDN) in Philadelphia, PA.
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION DEADLINE: March 4, 2016 (5pm PST)
The organizing committee will select papers for presentation at the symposium based on extended abstracts. Please use the template found at the conference's website (www.fox.temple.edu/neural/event<http://www.fox.temple.edu/neural/event>). The abstract should state the study's objectives, briefly describe the methods, summarize the results obtained and state the conclusions. The body of the abstract should be no longer than 2400 characters, including punctuation (not spaces). All abstracts should be emailed to isdn16 at temple.edu<mailto:isdn16 at temple.edu> by 5 pm PST on March 4, 2016.
Selections will be based on quality, relevance to decision neuroscience, and contribution to breadth of topics and interdisciplinary approaches. (Note that all abstracts do not necessarily require neuroscience data, but should have the potential to encourage discussions about a possible role for neuroscience.) Selected papers would ideally not be published prior to the symposium. We consider not just the individual merits of the papers, but how they complement other submissions from scholars in different fields to form a cohesive session. The organizers will invite authors of the abstracts not selected for talks to present their work as posters.
More details about the conference, abstract format, registration, and accommodations can be found at our website (www.fox.temple.edu/neural/event<http://www.fox.temple.edu/neural/event>).
 ABOUT ISDN
This symposium is unique in that it brings together a range of constituencies involved in the use of neuroscience techniques to understand decision making - world renowned academics, neuroscience research companies, marketing research executives and industry leaders. It offers two days to mingle and present the latest breakthroughs on using neuro and physiological measures to inform decision making in individuals, groups, society, organizations and markets.
