Call for Proposals (Deadline approaching soon!! - April 1)

**Want to share your knowledge about how to leverage a new paradigm,
approach, method, technique, a new or controversial issue in the field, the
business of grant writing, fundraising, or.......? Why not conduct a
workshop at AMCIS to assist other academics in their professional
development!? ***

The proposal process is brief, and the workshop coordinators will work with
you on logistics and other preparations. Below is the official call. Hope
to see you in San Diego!

This call is to invite both scholars and practitioners to submit proposals
for workshops and tutorials for AMCIS 2016 in San Diego (August 11-13).
Proposals can be any topic that may be of interest. Workshops will be
welcomed by that facilitate discussion and exploration of ideas,
techniques, and methodologies that advance research, teaching knowledge of
IS-related concepts, or products from industry and their application to
academia, educational curricula, or industry practice.

* Smart energy, smart grid, and smart consumer solutions

* Reviewing for IS-related journals
* Theory Building in IS Research
* Developing IS Research for Practitioner Audiences
* Active Learning in the Classroom

* Designing and Teaching Information Security
* The Gamification of Work, Commerce, and Education
* Enterprise Architecture in Research and Practice

Format:

The workshops and tutorials typically are offered as half-day or full-day
sessions. If you are interested in offering a workshop on more than one day
