The Department of Information Systems at St. Cloud State University has one fixed-term position available to teach Information Systems and/or Information Assurance as needed. This is a full time 1 year position, possibly renewable.

Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate and/or graduate Information System and/or Information Assurance courses and contribute to achievement of department goals which include:
*         Providing an effective learning environment for student success,
*         Developing and enhancing school curriculum and programs, learning outcomes assessment and continuous improvement,
*         Contributing to student growth and development such as student advising,
*         Continuing development of professional knowledge and skills in Information Systems and Information Assurance,
*         Serving on committees at the department, school, and university levels,
*         Assisting the school in maintaining accreditation: conducting student learning assessment, meeting ongoing research requirement, and serving on school accreditation committee as needed.


Required:
1. Master's degree at time of application in Information Systems, Information Assurance, Business Analytics or IT (Information Technology) related field from a regionally accredited academic program completed in a campus-based classroom program.
2. Be able to teach Information System and/or Information Assurance courses that the department needs.
3. Evidence of the ability to work with persons from culturally diverse backgrounds, including students, departmental colleagues and others in the university and business community.

Desired:
1. Ph. D degree in Information Systems, Information Assurance, or Business Analytics from an AACSB accredited academic program.
2. Evidence of service in student growth and development.
3. Evidence of teaching effectiveness or potential (teaching/student evaluations or awards uploaded with application materials) 4. Working experience in a UNIX/LINUX based computing environment
