Dear colleagues,

my co-authors and I are conducting a meta-analysis on the antecedents and consequences of control in IS projects.

After having conducted a comprehensive search of published research on this topic, we are now searching for unpublished research, forthcoming studies, papers under review, conference and workshop presentations, doctoral dissertations, or datasets.

Including such material in a meta-analysis serves two purposes. One is to draw inferences from the most current data available. The other is to address a potential publication bias (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Publication_bias).

We kindly ask you to share with us any unpublished empirical work/forthcoming studies that has measured control (i.e., formal control – e.g., behavior and outcome control – or informal control – e.g., clan and self-control).

We would like to include the following information in our meta-analysis:
. correlation matrix
. descriptive statistics (sample size, means, standard deviations)
. measurement (items, scales, reliabilities)
. basic description of the data sample and research setting

Also, please let us know how to cite your paper in the reference list.

We assure you that we treat any material that you send to us with confidentiality and that we will use it solely for the purpose of our study.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me: mschermann at scu.edu

Thank you!

Sincerely,
Michael Schermann
