Dear Colleagues,

We invite submissions for the 27th Annual Workshop on Information Systems and Economics (WISE 2016) to be hosted in Dublin, Ireland from December 14-16, 2016, at the Conrad Dublin hotel. WISE is the premier academic research forum for the discussion of information systems issues through the lens of economics. Presentations consist of research that addresses important business and societal questions with a focus on information technology. The WISE community is open to a wide variety of research methodologies. WISE welcomes new research related to the broad area of information systems that is supported by economic theories and methods.

Submission Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit extended abstracts (maximum of six (6) pages, including text, references, figures and tables) of their work for presentation at the conference. Please submit abstracts online at https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=wise2016. If you have not used Easy Chair before, you will have to go through a short registration process before submitting your work. Any given individual should present no more than one paper at the workshop, and the submitting author on each paper should also be the presenting author. In order to minimize repeated exposure of the same paper, we ask that authors not submit work that has been scheduled for presentation at either ICIS 2016 or WITS 2016.

Submission Length: 6 pages
Submission File Type: PDF
Deadline for Submissions: August 14, 2016
Notification of Decisions: August 31, 2016
Conference Dates: December 14-16, 2016

Lodging & Accommodation

We have arranged a discounted block of 100 rooms at the Conrad Dublin hotel, at a nightly rate of 229 EUR. You can obtain the discounted rate via this booking link until September 14th, 2016. Please note that this nightly rate is more than 100 EUR cheaper than the regular nightly rate for the conference dates, and space is limited, so book early if you plan to attend the conference! Alternative hotel options located nearby are also provided on the WISE website.

If you have any questions about the conference, hotels or paper submission, please contact Gordon Burtch (gburtch at umn.edu)

Hope to see you in Dublin,
