[AISWorld] CFP: 2nd Annual National Cyber Analyst Challenge

Dear Colleagues
Please consider entering a student team or presenting interesting industry
relevant research or curriculum at the 2nd Annual National Cyber Analyst
Challenge (NCAC) powered by Lockheed Martin and organized by Temple
University's Institute for Business and Information Technology (IBIT) to
encourage development of cyber-security analysts, digital forensics, cyber
analytics, information assurance, and information technology audit.
NCAC focuses on institutional, faculty, and student development and offers
both knowledge and monetary resources for participating including awards of
$12,000 and $6,000 for schools getting into Phase I, training for Phase II,
and the $25,000 grand prize for Phase III. New this year is a one-day
conference that will focus on research and curriculum.
NCAC is multidisciplinary and encourages participation from IS, CS, and
Engineering programs and faculty. In 2015, the finalists included IS and CS
teams from Iowa State (winner), University of Arizona, University of Alabama
Huntsville, Carnegie Mellon, Howard University, Penn State University,
Temple University, University of Central Florida, and University of New
Hampshire.
Registration for the challenge is ongoing till the end of May 2016 and the
finals and conference are in Washington D.C. on October 27-28, 2016.
