IE University´s graduate school of business- IE Business School- (www.ie.edu)
invites qualified applicants for a tenure-track position at the Assistant
professor level in the Information Systems and Technology Department,
beginning September 2017. Our school has a group of young and dynamic
scholars working in all areas of management including information systems,
and we are looking to expand our faculty.

The successful candidate will be expected to publish in top-tier
peer-reviewed international journals, to teach high level MBA and executive
courses, to interact and work closely with faculty from other disciplines,
and to provide intellectual leadership in his/her area. Applicants will
have earned a PhD from a recognized school in a relevant discipline (entry
level candidates can be close to completion). Previous experience in
teaching is a plus, proficiency in Spanish is desirable, but not
required. Salary for this position will be commensurate with qualifications
and experience.

Preference will be given to candidates that complement our existing
research strengths in the following (but not limited to) areas: IT business
value, adoption and diffusion of IT innovations, e-business, IT strategy,
e-government, e-health, Web 2.0, big data and business analytics, IT
outsourcing, and information systems security. Salary offered will be
commensurate with qualifications and experience.
