[AISWorld] CfP: Pacific Telecommunications Council Conference

The Pacific Telecommunications Council (PTC) will host its annual
conference on January 15-18, 2017 in Honolulu, Hawaii.  The conference will
offer two awards for excellence in research: The Meheroo Jussawalla
Research Prize Award for the best overall research paper, and The Yale M.
Braunstein Student Prize Award for best student paper at PTC’17. For

*   The Yale M. Braunstein Prize for best student paper, deadline:
September 1, 2016

*   The Meheroo Jussawalla Prize for best paper: proposal deadline July 6,
paper deadline: Sept. 20, 2016



The winner of each prize will receive:



- US$1,000 cash award

- Conference registration waiver

- Speaking opportunity to present paper at PTC'17

- Up to US$1,500 for travel and accommodations

- Certificate presented at the PTC'17 Closing Lunch and Awards Ceremony



Papers for PTC'17 are welcome on a range of telecom and information and
communications technologies topics including: Mobile/Wireless, Satellite,
Subsea Cables, Network Architectures and Technologies, New Business Models,
Cloud, Colo and Data Centers, Emerging Markets, ICT4D, Security, Privacy
and Data Protection, Policy and Regulation.  Research topics may be
interdisciplinary or grounded in a specific discipline (economics,
political science, business, communications, public policy) and may reflect
regional and/or cross-regional perspectives.
