[AISWorld] [Reminder] SIGLEAD General Meeting at AMCIS 2016 (6-8PM Friday Aug 12)

Hello all,

This is a friendly reminder for SIGLEAD's General Meeting during AMCIS 2016 at San Diego.  As mentioned earlier with the first announcement, I'm sharing a list of items to discuss and calling for your inputs - YOUR THOUGHTS COUNT and your involvement and participation are crucial conduits for us to improve moving forward:


  *   Venues through which SIGLEAD can make its presence and contribution to academia and IT practices - we already have ISM special issue for January 2017 (we've made CFP twice and plan to do few more reminder CFP) but need to have more.  If you have any journal outlets in mind, please share it with the leadership team and at the meeting
  *   Extension of our tracks to ECIS & PACIS (we already have strong presence at AMCIS and ICIS).  Any ideas/volunteers in the regions at ECIS & PACIS?
  *   Promotion of SIGLEAD through academic & practical affiliations -- we've collaborated with CIO Forum to promote our presence but any other ideas/suggestions?

REMINDER
If you plan to attend AMCIS 2016 in San Diego, please join us at our annual meeting as we look back what we accomplished and discuss what we would like to do while moving forward (e.g., more publication venues/opportunities, more research/industry collaboration opportunities, etc.) -- I will send out the meeting agenda for your review in a week or two.

SIGLEAD annual meeting will be held:
•       Executive Center 2B
•       6-8PM on Friday August 12
•       Light dinner and beverage will be served
