Colleagues -

I will join Louisiana Tech in September (ok, I'm already there, getting started early), and I invite you to consider joining me in what will be the biggest information security faculty in the region.

We have the opportunity to fill two tenure-track openings in a range of ranks, and our ongoing focus is information security and assurance, as an NSA-Certified Center of Academic Excellence for Cyber Defense Education and Research.

Selwyn Ellis and I will be on hand in San Diego at AMCIS to meet with interested candidates, and we invite your applications for that purpose. It's an exciting time at Tech. As Co-Editor of Data Base for Advances in Information Systems, and Co-Chair of the 2018 AMCIS conference in New Orleans, I can attest to the excellent level of support Tech provides for research, disciplinary service and scholarly inquiry. As a recent hire, I can also attest to the highly-collegial and superbly congenial atmosphere Tech offers for productive scholars interested in Information Security and other related topics of interest.

Aside from myself, Jake Lee (SUNY, 2016) has just joined our growing group of security experts, as well. We work in Ruston, LA - a prosaic hamlet situated in the rolling hills midway between Shreveport and Vicksburg in the Northern Louisiana region. While I find the college town atmosphere of Ruston delightfully compelling, those seeking more urban situations can live and commute from Shreveport to the East, as our Dean does, or from West Monroe, just to the West, as I do.

See the job posting below, and then send us your vita. Let's chat in San Diego!

Collegial regards,
Tom Stafford
