Tenure-track faculty position in the College of Business and Management

RESPONSIBILITIES: The College of Business and Management invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor Faculty position. The college is seeking an individual to teach and produce intellectual contributions in at least two of the following areas: Business Process Management & Innovation, Business Process Management & IT Governance, Information Systems Security, Telecommunications, Systems Analysis and Design, or Database Management Systems; student advising; graduate project and thesis supervision; intellectual contributions leading to publications in high quality journals; and service are required. Instructional assignments will include delivery of MIS courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels. Ability and willingness to prepare for and deliver online, blended, on-campus, and off-campus courses is required.
QUALIFICATIONS: An earned doctorate in MIS or a closely related field at the time of appointment from an AACSB accredited institution; those with ABD status will be considered at the application/interviewing stage. A strong commitment to an interactive, student-centered learning environment and to serving the needs of a diverse student body consisting of both traditional and non-traditional learners is required. Commitment to teaching as the primary mission, with high quality scholarly research as the second priority, and service as the third priority. Ability and willingness to prepare and deliver online, blended, on-campus, and off-campus courses is required. A record of high quality scholarship or evidence of the ability to produce intellectual contributions leading to publication in high quality journals is required.
