22th-24th November 2016, Trondheim, Norway

We invite submissions to the PROFES 2016 Doctoral Symposium, to be held
during the week of 21 November 2016. The PROFES Doctoral Symposium
provides a forum for both early and late-stage PhD students, working on
foundations, techniques, methods and tools related to software process
and product quality improvement, to present their research and get
detailed feedback and advice.

The goal of the Doctoral Symposium is to provide students with useful
guidance and feedback for the successful completion of their
dissertation from established scholars and other PhD attendees. The
doctoral symposium will also help participants to establish a new
research and social network of their peers in this field, in particular,
between the promising young researchers and senior members of the
community.

It will provide PhD students with an opportunity to present and to
discuss their research with senior researchers acting as mentors in a
constructive and friendly atmosphere. The PhD Symposium has the same
scope as the main PROFES 2014 conference.
